Privacy Policy

SkyKeeper is operated by The Alchemy Collective ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the SkyKeeper app and website collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and how you can access or delete it. Questions or requests: support@skykeeperai.app.

Information we collect

• Account data. Your email address, password (stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider), sign-up and last sign-in timestamps, and an optional preferred name.
• Birth data. Birth date, birth time (if you know it), and birth place, including the latitude and longitude we resolve from the place name.
• Derived astrology and Human Design data. Sidereal (Lahiri) planetary positions, transits, and Human Design type, authority, profile, and definition computed from your birth data.
• Content you create. Conversations with Oraya, journal entries, daily flows and openings, intentions and check-ins, decisions, plans, relationship entries you add about other people (name, birth details, notes), relationship and forecast readings, and wellness reflections. Conversation excerpts are also stored as vector embeddings so the app can recall relevant past context.
• Subscription data. Subscription status, plan, billing period dates, trial state, and the identifiers our payment processor assigns. We never receive or store your full card number.
• App activity and analytics. Pages viewed, key in-app events, coarse usage counters (such as daily question counts), plus standard technical data like IP address, timestamp, and user agent captured by our hosting and database providers in their logs.
• Feedback and reviews. Anything you voluntarily submit through the feedback button or the review form. Reviews are only shown publicly after we approve them, and are shown under the display name you choose.

How we use it

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To calculate your chart, transits, and Human Design, and to generate the personalized readings, daily flow, decisions, plans, relationship and wellness reflections you ask for.
• To give Oraya continuity — your saved chart, intentions, past conversation summaries, and relevant memories are included in the prompt for a new response.
• To run free-tier limits, trials, subscriptions, and billing.
• To send transactional and account emails (sign-in, password reset, trial reminders).
• To understand aggregate usage, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

Service providers we share data with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We do rely on the following processors, and the data described below is transmitted to them so the app can work:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file/vector storage. Holds all account data and app content described above.
• Lovable — application hosting, transactional email delivery, and the AI gateway. Prompts sent to Oraya (which include your chart, transits, intentions, relevant past conversation context, and the message you write) and voice-playback text are routed through this gateway to Google Gemini models for generation. Content sent for AI generation is used to produce your response, not to train our own models.
• Stripe — subscription billing and checkout. Stripe receives your email and payment details directly and returns subscription status to us. Card data is handled by Stripe, not by SkyKeeper.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — geocoding. When you enter a birth place, the place-name text is sent to this service to resolve coordinates. No account identifier is attached to that lookup.
• Google Play / app store and Google Search Console — distribution and aggregate search performance for our public marketing pages.

We may also disclose information if legally required, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a business transfer, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Voice features

When you tap "Listen", the text of Oraya's reply is sent to the AI gateway to synthesize speech, and the audio is streamed back to your device. We do not record your microphone and SkyKeeper does not collect voice input.

Wellness reflections are not medical advice

Wellness readings are reflective, astrology-based prompts. They are not medical, mental health, diagnostic, or treatment advice, they are not produced by a clinician, and they must not be used to diagnose, treat, or delay care for any condition. If you are unwell or in crisis, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service.

Retention

• Account data and app content are retained while your account exists, so your history stays available to you.
• When you delete your account, your authentication record, profile, chart, conversations, memories, intentions, decisions, plans, relationships, readings, daily flows, and usage counters are deleted.
• Limited records are retained where we have a legal or security obligation: payment and invoice records held by Stripe for tax and accounting purposes, email delivery logs, and de-identified analytics rows whose user reference is removed rather than the row.
• Provider infrastructure logs expire on those providers' own schedules.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest by our database provider. Access to your rows is enforced at the database level with row-level security tied to your authenticated user ID, privileged operations run only server-side, and administrative access is limited to the operator of The Alchemy Collective. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Your rights and choices

• Access and correct your birth details, Human Design, and profile in Account settings.
• Delete your account and data at any time — see below.
• Cancel your subscription at any time from Manage billing.
• Unsubscribe from non-essential email using the link in those emails.
• Request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete or correct it, by emailing support@skykeeperai.app. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws; we honor these requests regardless of location.

Deleting your account

Sign in and go to Account → Danger zone → Delete account. You can also read the full instructions, including how to request deletion without signing in, on our account deletion page.

Children's privacy

SkyKeeper is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required by local law) to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age; if we learn we have, we delete it. Contact us if you believe a child has created an account.

International transfers

Our providers operate in the United States and other countries, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence with appropriate safeguards in place.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
